Megan Gonzalez founded MaeMae & Co. as a fiery art student completing her degree at Biola University. Her first "office" lacked central air, so clad in a swimsuit and surrounded by inspiration taped to the walls, she forged a creative career driven by an obsession for paper ephemera and a willingness to forge her own path.
Over the last two decades, she has upgraded her work attire but continues to dress her walls with treasures from recycling bins and museums.
Megan's practice is beloved for its constant evolution and her zest for creative play. Her vibrant work has been recognized by Vogue, and the internet has crowned her "The Queen of Moodboards.”
After developing her signature style in Los Angeles and Minneapolis, she is starting a new season filled with growth and inspiration under the Phoenician sun with her husband and two sons.
When her work is complete, she can be found chasing lizards and making paper crafts with her guys. There's something in the desert air - possibility, warmth, and maybe a little dust - and it's clear that this is the beginning of the greatest chapter yet.
